Caroline has an idea: make her art accessible to all
While she has been working for more than 30 years on very large formats and implementing architectural projects, this idea does not leave her.
It was then that small formats became evident.
It is finally possible to propose a real work of art at a price finally accessible: 150 €.
I met Caroline in May 2019, so she was looking for an intern to help her develop her communication. When I was 20, I had just graduated.
I was immediately seduced by his artistic universe: his women dancing, his powerful waves, his children running along the banks... By its touch, so particular of the fact read layer support that it uses.
As for its small formats, I have been challenged by the sweetness they exude.
She asked me once my internship was over, to accompany her on the adventure of MY LITTLE PAINTINGS. This time as a partner.
MY LITTLE PAINTINGS draws its strengths from the originality and experience of Caroline’s work, while anchoring her concept in a younger approach thanks to Annelise.
Maybe it was Josephine, Caroline’s granddaughter who told us this idea...
At two and a half, she is fascinated by one of Caroline’s little paintings: Sleeping in the sun. Certainly attracted by the bright red of this work, she keeps repeating that it is her painting!
This awakening showed us to what extent, regardless of age, we are sensitive to art and desire to own a work.
I’ve always wanted to create an art of proximity.
I was worried that those who were acquiring one of my works would really like it. So much so that I sometimes offered them to ... take it back if they changed their mind!
But this never happened, I was rather pleased to hear that after several years, to quote them, they loved him more every day.
It is this state of mind that I wanted to pursue with MY LITTLE PAINTINGS, while reaching a wider audience.
